眾所周知軟管泵在運行時，是通過一根U型附有彈性的橡膠軟管來完成輸送。今天小編需要強調(diào)的是，軟管存放時間不宜過長，一般以一年為限。在停工期間，對裝有軟管的泵，若長期不用，每隔一個月需轉動泵一次。以免壓輥長時間壓在泵管的某一處，減弱管子回彈性，影響其流量的輸送。

與擠塑輪結構設計相比，膠管泵的滑靴設計能承受更高的壓力，因此要根據(jù)泵的需求壓力和具體應用情況來決定哪種設計適合。擠壓輪設計只需在軟管表面涂上硅脂，不需要額外的潤滑油，因為滾筒在軟管表面“滾動”。因此，該設計可考慮用于涉及食品和飲料的應用，因為在軟管故障和斷裂的情況下，交叉污染的概率小于浸沒在潤滑油中的拖鞋設計蠕動泵的概率，即使油是“食品級”，通常也 使用滾筒設計。
