首先我們先介紹一下軟管泵，軟管泵又稱蠕動泵。為了泵體污染流體或流體污染泵體的危險性，整個泵的裝置中只有軟管與介質接觸。在一般場合下，軟管泵使用的都是天然橡膠的軟管。內(nèi)層和外層都是完整光滑的天然橡膠，其目的是很強防磨損。適用于腐蝕性不高但磨損性很大的如泥漿以及無機物等等介質。而且一般適用于脂肪、油類或油脂的介質，以及有機化學物質。內(nèi)層是橡膠，而外層是天然橡膠或者是復合橡膠。

軟管泵的工作原理及應用：軟管在泵體內(nèi)呈U形布置。當旋轉體帶動擠壓輪旋轉時，擠壓軟管受到擠壓輪的擠壓而發(fā)生彈性變形，然后吸入口形成負壓吸漿。通過擠壓輪的推動，漿液從出料口排出，形成漿液的壓力輸送。工業(yè)軟管泵主要應用于建筑、地下工程、礦山、食品、造紙、陶瓷等領域的粘性漿液遠距離輸送、計量泵送、壓力灌漿、噴射等。
